I mentioned last week that there was a really interesting Podcast that explores the spine and how our nervous system plays a roll in pain sensation in the body.

There is a growing body of research that is strengthening the link between psychological stress with chronic pain in the felt in the body. When we seek rehabilitation for injuries in the body our mind state is rarely addressed.
While stressful situations are often impossible to avoid in life the way in which we adjust our mindset to approach hardship can have a fundamental impact on our over all wellbeing including sensations of pain.
N.b. I still won't advocate contortion as the answers though!!
